Khepri

Khepri has many different names for example Khepra and Kopri. Those names mean "who comes into existence". The symbol for Khepri is scarab beetle. Khepris association with the dung beetle and his role as a sungod resulted in his depiction. As a man with a farely big beetle on the top of his head or a with a big beetle head rolling the sun and moon across the sky. khepri was also the god of the rising sun. Khepri was also on manifestation of Re. Khepri got his name because could role the sun and the moon across the sky like a Dung beetle roles his ball of dung in which it lays its eggs. Most of all the egyptians believed that Khepri created himself, just as it appeared the dung beetles did do that when there larvae merged from there dung ball.
